The masthead lists the editors responsible for what PQR News publishes and sets out the standards they work to. PQR News is an independent general-news publication, and the people below are accountable for the accuracy and range of their desks.
Editorial team
Each desk is led by an editor responsible for the accuracy and fairness of its coverage:
- Eleanor Shaw — Editor-in-Chief. Sets editorial direction and guards the publication’s standards, and writes the cross-cutting features that connect the desks.
- David Okonkwo — Politics Editor. Elections, institutions, governance, law and the courts, and international relations.
- Priya Nair — Business & Economy Editor. The economy, markets, companies, trade, and everyday finance explained.
- Samuel Reyes — Technology Editor. Artificial intelligence, consumer tech, cybersecurity, and internet policy.
- Lena Vasquez — World Editor. Global affairs across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.
- Grace Adeyemi — Health Editor. Public health, medicine, mental health, nutrition science, and healthcare systems.
- Thomas Bergström — Science Editor. Climate and environment, space, physics and chemistry, biology, and research explained.
- Amara Diallo — Culture Editor. Media and entertainment, books and ideas, society, history, and the arts.
Our standards
PQR News publishes evergreen explainers, analysis, and backgrounders on real, verifiable subjects. Our editors hold the newsroom to a clear set of rules: name genuine institutions, laws, and mechanisms accurately; never fabricate statistics, figures, quotes, or interviews; and close every article with real, checkable sources. Where a precise number would be uncertain, we describe it qualitatively rather than inventing one.
On contested topics we are even-handed, presenting the real positions fairly rather than pushing a side. We explain how medical, legal, and financial systems work, but we do not give personal advice. Corrections
Accuracy matters to us, and we would rather fix an error than defend it. If you spot something you believe is wrong, tell us and we will review it. Where a correction is warranted, we make it.

In the interest of honesty, PQR News does not maintain a fabricated advisory board, and we do not list honorary titles, endorsements, or affiliations we do not have. The editors named above are the people responsible for the publication. We would rather show you a short, true masthead than a long, impressive-looking one.
