Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise and actress Katie Holmes reached a settlement. On July 9, 2012 (Monday) It was announced the couple signed a divorce settlement worked out by their lawyers. Holmes's attorney Jonathan Wolfe confirmed the deal in a statement: "The case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life." Wolfe also add "We thank Tom's counsel for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring about this speedy resolution."
According to TMZ, Tom's longtime lawyer Bert Fields tells, "The Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes case has been settled with a signed agreement. Tom is really pleased we got there, and so am I." Tom had for settling was "meaningful, significant" contact with Suri.
