10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway's suspected killer is a 17-year-old neighbor named Austin Reed Sigg, who arrested Tuesday night (Oct 23) at 7:45 after police received a tip that led them to a home about 1.4 miles from Jessica's home in Westminstenear Ketner Lake Open Space, according to a news news release from the Westminster Police Department. The girl' Jessica was last seen by her mother as she left for school October 5. Her dismembered body was found on last week at a park in Arvada.

"This morning the Ridgeway family was notified of this arrest," Westminster Police Chief Lee Birk said. "We hope and pray this arrest gives them some measure of closure in dealing with their horrible loss and tragedy."

Update (On October 25): Jessica Ridgeway case suspect Austin Reed Sigg, made his first court appearance today. Prosecutors say a Colorado teenager has confessed in the abduction and killing of 10-year-old Girl.
