Puerto Rican Professional boxer Hector Camacho (Nicknamed "Macho Camacho") was shot multiple times in Puerto Rico near the shopping center Plaza del Sol in Bayamon on November 20, 2012 (Tuesday Night) around 7 PM AST. The 50-year-old boxing legend seated in a Ford Mustang when shots were fired from a second vehicle, and Camacho's car driver was killed. According to El Nuevo Herald, Camacho was shot in the neck and face and taken to a Rio Piedras Medical Center. According to hospital hospital authorities the bullet Camacho took the brain, but he stayed on the right shoulder.

Update: On November 23, Camacho's mother Maria Matias announced plans to have her son taken off life support Saturday, November 24, after three more of his sons arrive in Puerto Rico to be with him. From News reports: Doctors have declared him “clinically brain dead.” He was officially declared dead on November 24th, 2012.
